This is the
awkward truth about Nigerian husbands.
A group of
men gathered at a Church Conference tagged, “How to live in a loving
relationship with your wife”. The men were asked, “How many of you love your
wife?” All the men raised their hands; they were then asked, “when was the last
time you told your wife you love her?” Some men answered “Today” some said “Yesterday”
while majority did not remember.
The men were then told to take out their cell phones and send the following text to their respective wives;
“I love you sweetheart…”
After
confirming they sent it, the men were told to exchange phones so one can can
read the other one’s wife’s reply to their message. Here are some of the
replies.
- Have you impregnated someone again???
- That was then not now
- You wan borrow money abi?
- What did you do again? I won’t forgive you this time!!!
- Meaning??
- Is that a new song???
- Am I dreaming???????
- If you don’t tell me who this message is actually for, you
will die today!!!
- You this man!!! I asked you to stop drinking!!!!!
- Abeg na who be dis???
